Chris & Ashley – Pittsburgh

It’s not often that you get such a charming location for a wedding. An old golf club on the outskirts of Pittsburgh set the perfect scene for Chris and Ashley’s wedding. It rained early on in the day, but by the time the ceremony started the sun was shining. Everybody in the wedding party was a great sport and it was good to hang out with all of them. The party later on was highlighted by a great live band… it was one of those nights you didn’t want to end!

Everybody should go to a wedding where the bride's grandfather gets up and leads a quartet.  It was so good to see all of the family gather around and sing songs that they have apparently been singing for year.  I could hear a lot of history in the songs, and it just made me wish I was a part of it!  Another way history was brought in was via all of the wedding dresses from the parents and grandparents.  There was a room with about 5 dresses set up, along with a wedding album or portrait from the day.  Also, Courtney made sure she had time to get a few throws in with her dad; something you don't see at every wedding. Chelsea +Layne – Photos and Highlight Film
Such a beautiful day for this couple's amazing wedding! No detail was overlooked... and style for miles! Layne and Chelsea hired me to capture both photos and video for their wedding day. I had my brother fly out from LA to help with the video side, and had my father, a long time 2nd shooter of mine help get additional photos and clips. I love being able to provide the bride with both the photos and the video! I hope to be able to book a lot more weddings in the future where I can do both. It makes for a much smoother process having everyone on the same 'team.' ...
