John & Melissa – Wedding Film

John and Melissa were a great couple to film. Despite some heavy downpours right after the ceremony… the rain cleared and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the evening. The Rolls Royce was a class choice, and I swear the centerpieces on the head table were taller than John. This is my 3rd wedding film… and the first one that I would consider a complete film. The other two that I had done did not have any of the reception.I would love to hear your feedback! Thanks!

Big thanks goes to Josh Stephens -a true professional 🙂 for being my second shooter. Thanks to his slider and 7D we were able to get some slo-mo going and also introduce subtle horizontal movement into a lot of the shots. Check out his work at thelensman.com

Jessica + Jacob
What an amazing day in Cincinnati. Note to brides wanting to have an outdoor wedding in Ohio in late September... if it ends up being sunny it will be one of the nicest days of the year. This day was absolutely perfect. Ault Park is a fabulous location to have a wedding. Jessica and Jacob are two class people with huge hearts. Their love for each other is evident, as is their love for God and his providence. This film was fairly easy to edit due to the fact that I had so much footage to work with. Some of the most beautiful moments to date were captured on this day. I love the shots at the end of everyone dancing. The sun was just setting ...

Bride and Groom Southern California SmogShoppe
Wedding Video at SmogShoppe in Southern CA | Maura + Matthew
I had so much fun spending the weekend with Maura and Matthew in Southern California this past August. They are such a kind, enthusiastic, and caring couple and I knew going into it that the day would be special. Their venue, SmogShoppe played a very important part of the day and separated us from the buzz of the city. It is a little oasis in the land of concrete. The Culver Hotel is where everyone stayed and got ready. It is a historic hotel on the west side of Los Angeles. This is the hotel that the entire cast of 'The Wizard of Oz' slept when they were filming that movie. Word on the street is that they had multiple munchkins in each room ...

Amy and Nick – Short Film
Had a wonderful time shooting Amy and Nick's April wedding. The two of them have very big hearts for each other and their families. Family from all over the world came to witness the event, and not one left unsatisfied. The attention to detail was spectacular and no single thing was looked over in the planning of the day. It was great to be a part of all of it, and share in a very memorable day for these two. Best of luck in Minnesota!
