Pat and Audra

My second wedding of the year was fairly similar weather-wise to the first wedding I shot…. overcast and a touch of rain.

Just like the first one though, Pat and Audra didn’t let that get to them and would never be able to tell from the photos that it was even on their minds. After seeing that all the bridesmaids were blonde, and knowing Pat was a blonde, I immediately questioned if all the groomsmen were blonde too. The last time I shot in Zanesville was for Adam and Sarah’s wedding two years ago… so I have fond memories of the location.

Hey there, I just found you all through google so I thought I’d swing by and take a look at your work. I really enjoyed your photos and I love your editorial style. I’m a wedding photographer as well (My company is called Mykkah Photography around Washington D.C. / central Virginia at the moment) and I can totally appreciate all the efforts behind your photos. I'm about to move back to Dayton Ohio to relocate my business back to my hometown so I thought I'd look around at some of the local talent! Just wanted to stop by and say keep up the great work! Kindest regards, -Micah

Brendan and Sara – Pittsburgh
This was an amazing wedding. There are many 'types' of weddings, and if you were to tell me I could only shoot one type of wedding for the rest of my photography life, I would definitely say Sara and Brendan's type. From an amazing church on Pitt's campus (Heinz Memorial Chapel), to the the low-key reception at a local bed and breakfast (Morning Glory Inn), this day was filled with lots of fun and a very relaxed group of people. When the bride and groom were pronounced, the bridal party started waving Steeler's terrible towels. The locations I had to work with were all great. The Mellon Institute was just a block from the church and provide ...

Josh & Brittany
Josh and Brittany will fool you. They seem very quiet and shy up front, and I could tell that they were not used to being in the spotlight, and had a very laid back demeanor. However, these people know how to party! For their first dance they surprised everyone when after halfway through the traditional song they broke out into a custom dance that they have been working on for months to the track of "Bringin' Sexy Back" haha... needless to say the place went nuts and Josh and Brittany just soaked it all up. They were made for this! This was my first wedding of the year... I hope the rest of my couples will be as friendly and fun as they were. ...

Jeremy & Hillary – Key Largo
Jeremy and Hillary were getting married in Key Largo... "would you be willing to shoot our wedding???" hmmmm, let me think... I guess I could travel down to that dump for a day or two haha What an awesome location for a little get away wedding. Small weddings like this are great because they really bring family together, and it feels all the more special. On a beach.... in June... in record high heat (yeah, record highs for Florida... you know thats GOT to be hot!!!) they got married. I was also given the task of shooting a video for this wedding that they could play at the reception back in Ohio to show their guests what it was like ...
