Pat and Audra

My second wedding of the year was fairly similar weather-wise to the first wedding I shot…. overcast and a touch of rain.

Just like the first one though, Pat and Audra didn’t let that get to them and would never be able to tell from the photos that it was even on their minds. After seeing that all the bridesmaids were blonde, and knowing Pat was a blonde, I immediately questioned if all the groomsmen were blonde too. The last time I shot in Zanesville was for Adam and Sarah’s wedding two years ago… so I have fond memories of the location.

Hey there, I just found you all through google so I thought I’d swing by and take a look at your work. I really enjoyed your photos and I love your editorial style. I’m a wedding photographer as well (My company is called Mykkah Photography around Washington D.C. / central Virginia at the moment) and I can totally appreciate all the efforts behind your photos. I'm about to move back to Dayton Ohio to relocate my business back to my hometown so I thought I'd look around at some of the local talent! Just wanted to stop by and say keep up the great work! Kindest regards, -Micah

This was my second time photographing a wedding at the Hawk Gallery in downtown Columbus. It is a small gallery that has lots of really nice glass pieces (much of it way overpriced for Ohio)... but its fun to look at. The first time I shot a wedding there I nearly knocked part of an art piece off of the wall while reacting to a photographic opportunity. When I felt my back rub up against it and heard it shift on its wall mount, my heart sunk. Fortunately it did not drop to the ground. If it did... I would run away. Pricetag on that piece was $249,000! I think shipping is free though. Robb and Rachael had the best weather of the summer... it ...

Tom and Kaleigh
Tom and Kaleigh had a wonderful group of people surrounding them on their big day. It was great to see such a large crowd having so much fun all day and all night. I could tell how big of a day this was both for both of the families, and despite their limo driver heading to the wrong city (and I mean WRONG city.... 45 miles away wrong)... and some rain threatening the early part of the day, everything went off without a hitch and they sailed smoothly to the end... and then some. Last I saw them they were headed to the bar afterwards. Poor Kaleigh was so tired, but you could tell she wanted to make the most of it. I love the photos in front o ...

Mike and Stacy
These two had a perfect day for their outdoor wedding. Everything about the wedding was bright and sunny. From the flowers that Stacy picked for the bouquets, to the candy tables keeping guests sugar'd out! I love shooting outdoor ceremonies, and this one was no exception. A lesson to anyone wanting some really great photos.... be flexible enough to allow for a short photo session right around sunset. Most summer days it is fairly late and most of the formal reception activities are over. This is the BEST time to get some really dramatic photos due to the light. Michael and Stacy were willing to step away from the crowd, and I think they wil ...
