Matt and Elizabeth

Matt and Beth know how to have a good time. I travelled to Coldwater, Ohio for their wedding at the end of July and had a great time with them. Matt is quite a character, and has a face or expression for every moment of the day.

Both of them were all smiles and were able to enjoy some quality time with their closest friends. A break between the ceremony and reception allowed for them to take a bus of their friends to a bar on the lake and have some drinks and relax. An old timer on a Harley tried to give Beth a ride to the bar from the bus. She would have to go side saddle, and this one had drudge report written all over it. Thankfully she declined because none of us had faith in his equilibrium.

Another scorcher in Ohio, but I feel I am starting to get used to my shirts sticking to me all day…

Zac and Kristin
Zac and Kristin were not caught up in all the little things that can lead people astray on the day of the wedding. They were all about the people, the fun, and the food. This attitude led to a very fun evening, with lots of laughter... and lots of great food (good work Zac). They were married at Smith Bros., which is now Dock 580, and were able to do everything right there. The ceremony and the reception. This helps keep everything intimate because you don't have people wandering off. Everyone is right there the whole time. I had a lot of fun with Zac and Kristin, and come to find out, they are neighbors of mine! ...

Jeremy & Amanda
Jeremy and Amanda have things straight. I could sense from them early on just how important this day was. From the excitement beforehand, to the happiness when seeing each other for the first time, they were pumped. During the ceremony they had a great moment when all of the bridal party gathered around them on the stage and Chris Tomlin's 'Our God' blared through the sound system. It was a great choice, and signified their strong love of God. Jeremy and Amanda are also photographers who shoot weddings, so it was an honor straight from the get-go that they chose me. I will admit it makes it a little more stressful knowing you have some artsy ...

Branden and Sol – Madison, WI
My cousin Branden and his bride Sol were married about a month ago in a very private setting. They decided they still wanted to have a party so they basically had a whole wedding day, minus the ceremony, for all of their friends and family to come and celebrate. Most of Sol's family is from Mexico, and about 40 of them made the trip up for the wedding. The Morgan family has music pumping through their genes... so there were definitely some times for that to be demonstrated. My uncle is a percussionist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra and Ryan and Branden are both involved in the band Misery Signals. Not for the soft of hearing. Branden's d ...
