Anthony and Kelsey

Keeping the trend going for my weddings this year… it was SUPER HOT for Anthony and Kelsey’s wedding. You would think September would bring low 80’s… maybe high 70’s. Try 97. Yes, I sweat through my shirt. I need to buy a black shirt.

Thankfully we live in an age when people live indoors and can control the temp.

The wedding went off without a hitch and I was glad to be a part of the day. Besides being friends with the bride and groom, I was able to catch up with some other friends of mine that were there, which is always nice.

Emily + Dave
Jorgensen Farms is just minutes from where I live. I would LOVE to go back and shoot more events there. The venue is spectacular for summer weddings in Ohio. It take a pretty laid back couple to make the venue fit... and Emily and Dave are two of the calmest, coolest people you will ever meet. Both of them have huge hearts, and you can sense that immediately upon meeting them. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with them at the farm, capturing the most important day of their lives. Dave gave Emily one of the coolest gifts possible before the wedding.  He gave her a well written card for the day, but also wrote out cards for all of the ...

This might indeed be the most pretty day I ever had a wedding on. The early October light was brilliant, and had a quality all unto its own. However, the subjects it was gleaming off of were equally beautiful and when you add those two together you are going to end up with some amazing photos. I love the color in these photos. The trees were certainly turning, and we took advantage of them when we could. Victoria was absolutely gorgeous. I typically get a feel for my subject and go with a vibe that is suitable for them. Translation, I won't make people look like characters they aren't. When people see your wedding photos, I want your friend ...
