Branden and Sol – Madison, WI

My cousin Branden and his bride Sol were married about a month ago in a very private setting. They decided they still wanted to have a party so they basically had a whole wedding day, minus the ceremony, for all of their friends and family to come and celebrate. Most of Sol’s family is from Mexico, and about 40 of them made the trip up for the wedding.

The Morgan family has music pumping through their genes… so there were definitely some times for that to be demonstrated. My uncle is a percussionist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra and Ryan and Branden are both involved in the band Misery Signals. Not for the soft of hearing. Branden’s dad and brother surprised them with two songs during the receptions. Branden was certainly touched.

Sol on the other hand is a trained dancer and got Branden into shape for their first dance. They had quite a number. I never imagined a heavy metal drummer shaking his hips like he did haha

Other exciting parts in the evening included a drum circle, a bongo solo by Elec Simon of Stomp, and some capoeira. If you don’t know what capoeira is… look it up!

First person to guess Sol’s favorite color gets $100

Chelsea +Layne – Photos and Highlight Film
Such a beautiful day for this couple's amazing wedding! No detail was overlooked... and style for miles! Layne and Chelsea hired me to capture both photos and video for their wedding day. I had my brother fly out from LA to help with the video side, and had my father, a long time 2nd shooter of mine help get additional photos and clips. I love being able to provide the bride with both the photos and the video! I hope to be able to book a lot more weddings in the future where I can do both. It makes for a much smoother process having everyone on the same 'team.' ...

Matt and Elizabeth
Matt and Beth know how to have a good time. I travelled to Coldwater, Ohio for their wedding at the end of July and had a great time with them. Matt is quite a character, and has a face or expression for every moment of the day. Both of them were all smiles and were able to enjoy some quality time with their closest friends. A break between the ceremony and reception allowed for them to take a bus of their friends to a bar on the lake and have some drinks and relax. An old timer on a Harley tried to give Beth a ride to the bar from the bus. She would have to go side saddle, and this one had drudge report written all over it. Thankfully she d ...
