Branden and Sol – Madison, WI

My cousin Branden and his bride Sol were married about a month ago in a very private setting. They decided they still wanted to have a party so they basically had a whole wedding day, minus the ceremony, for all of their friends and family to come and celebrate. Most of Sol’s family is from Mexico, and about 40 of them made the trip up for the wedding.

The Morgan family has music pumping through their genes… so there were definitely some times for that to be demonstrated. My uncle is a percussionist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra and Ryan and Branden are both involved in the band Misery Signals. Not for the soft of hearing. Branden’s dad and brother surprised them with two songs during the receptions. Branden was certainly touched.

Sol on the other hand is a trained dancer and got Branden into shape for their first dance. They had quite a number. I never imagined a heavy metal drummer shaking his hips like he did haha

Other exciting parts in the evening included a drum circle, a bongo solo by Elec Simon of Stomp, and some capoeira. If you don’t know what capoeira is… look it up!

First person to guess Sol’s favorite color gets $100

Megan + Kirby
Megan and Kirby got married on a beautiful sunny day in Columbus, Ohio. Their ceremony took place in Dublin and their reception was in Hilliard at Heritage Golf Club. Last year I photographed Megan's sister's wedding, which was held at the same locations.  So, I put a little pressure on myself to shoot this wedding as well as I did last year, but give them completely different photos, while still maintaining my style. We had an amazing evening and were able to get out at sunset for some awesome shots. The light was great and the clouds were puffy and white.  Congratulations to you two! ...

Mark and Ashley
Mark and Ashley had an absolutely beautiful day for their wedding. They were married at a golf club in New Albany and the location provided us with plenty of options for photos. Ashely was a stunning bride and my job was pretty easy. Pretty bride, handsome groom, great location and great weather all add up to great photos. The reception was very low key, which I always enjoy. Everyone had a lot of fun and I am sure this will be the best day of each of their lives up to this point... only to be uprooted by the first child!   Venue: New Albany Links Dress: La Jeune Mariee Floris ...

Wedding Video and Photography at Beverly Mansion in Central Ohio | CHRISTINA + DAVID
When I was first contacted to shoot a wedding at Beverly Mansion I thought, "where the heck is it and what is the Beverly Mansion?" I had never heard of it, even though I have been doing wedding photography and videos for years. I learned that it was in Ohio, not too far from me. After doing some digging I discovered it was in Marengo county and was an absolutely gorgeous property. On top of all of this, I learned that the soon to be bride and groom had a connection to the location. Christina's grandmother actually grew up at Beverly Mansion and still lives here in Central Ohio. Even better news, her grandmother is still in good health and wo ...
