Andrew and Caroline – Cleveland

Cinco de Mayo – We had a wonderful day for Caroline and Andrew’s Cleveland wedding. As you can see, Caroline is very easy on the eyes, and hence my job gets that much easier. Point and shoot.

They were married at the Old Stone Church downtown, which was full of charm and a perfect setting. After the wedding we headed to the lake to get some photos, but the 40mph gusts were not fun for the ladies so we went elsewhere. The ceremony was held near the airport at a historic ‘bomb group’ venue, which had tons of WWII photos. This was particularly appealing to me because my grandfather was a flight engineer on B-17’s during the war. There were lots of photos of this particular plane, and their crews… and I was half expecting to stumble across a photo of my grandad, Ward, in his 20s. I didn’t see him, but may need to take a trip up there in the future when I can spend a lot of time and go through all of them.

While Andrea was getting ready one of her friends accidentally knocked one of my cameras off of a chair and it landed right on the lens. I was a little worried at first, but upon picking it up realized it ...

Denise + Jermyl
I headed west to the small town of Coldwater, OH for my second wedding there. Denise and Jermyl are just full of life. Jermyl can make everyone laugh... and is always having a great time. Hang around with him for just 5 minutes and he will have you smiling. I am so happy I got to be a part of this day and could witness their two families coming together. It was really something special! Once again, the Mamiya 67 kills it. Love the color I got on this dreary, cold, November day in Ohio. Very happy I brought film along with me. I must admit it was hard to change the rolls when my hands were so cold! ...
