Kyle and Victoria

This might indeed be the most pretty day I ever had a wedding on. The early October light was brilliant, and had a quality all unto its own. However, the subjects it was gleaming off of were equally beautiful and when you add those two together you are going to end up with some amazing photos.

I love the color in these photos. The trees were certainly turning, and we took advantage of them when we could.

Victoria was absolutely gorgeous. I typically get a feel for my subject and go with a vibe that is suitable for them. Translation, I won’t make people look like characters they aren’t. When people see your wedding photos, I want your friends and family to look at them and see your personality shining through. Victoria had a look that was anything but austere. She had tons of confidence, and knows she looks good. I wasn’t going to hold her back. I let her and Kyle be themselves… and I think they turned out great!

Kent & Sarah
My job was made very easy this day. Couldn't ask for a better looking couple. My brother and I travelled to Morgantown, WV to photograph Sarah's wedding, which was set in the heart of the Mountaineer's campus. They are still crying about Rich Rodriguez leaving them to coach Michigan... but with Rich's record against OSU... we were happy to see him leave. Dusk is always a great time to shoot and I always try to get some shots then... but most times dusk occurs halfway through the reception and I have already 'gotten' most of the photos earlier in the day... at this point anything I shoot would just be a bonus. But, when you step outside a ...

Kelly and Cameron – Norfolk, VA
First wedding of the year.... I have known Cameron for a long time, and when he asked me to shoot his wedding I was more than thrilled. I had never met his fiance, and was just as excited to finally meet her as I was to actually go to the wedding. Although it was a cold, semi-rainy day, you would never know it looking at the expressions on their faces. I could tell that these two really had a strong connection, and that they had all their priorities straight! Thanks again for letting me be a part of your day... I hope you had plenty of powder in Breckenridge!

Zac and Kristin
Zac and Kristin were not caught up in all the little things that can lead people astray on the day of the wedding. They were all about the people, the fun, and the food. This attitude led to a very fun evening, with lots of laughter... and lots of great food (good work Zac). They were married at Smith Bros., which is now Dock 580, and were able to do everything right there. The ceremony and the reception. This helps keep everything intimate because you don't have people wandering off. Everyone is right there the whole time. I had a lot of fun with Zac and Kristin, and come to find out, they are neighbors of mine! ...
