Lauren and Eric – Perrysburg

It was a cold Sunday morning. The thermometer read 28 degrees. But, after factoring in wind chill, snow chill, river chill, and cloudy chill it felt more like -28 degrees.

The cold air did not freeze the hearts of all of those at this intimate ceremony and brunch. This was a very low key wedding, held in an amazing apartment living room in downtown Perrysburg. About 20 people came to share the moments with Eric and Lauren. It was a great setting for these two to seal the deal.

We were able to slip outside twice for some photos. The ladies were wonderful and did not complain as much as they should have with their shoulders bare and all. Fingers may have frozen, but all thawed out in the end.

The toasts at this wedding were the best I ever witnessed. Truly from the heart. Each with its own great moments. Laughter was in no short supply. A truly amazing day transpired the first weekend in March…

Connie + Marcos
Wonderful outdoor ceremony at North Pointe for Connie and Marcos.  I have driven by North Pointe multiple times but have never had the opportunity to go back in there until now.  It really is a very pretty area, with cute brick roads, well manicured lawns and colorful flower beds. Connie made a point of going down the road to visit her father's gravesite following the ceremony.  It was a very emotional time for her, and I know dad was happy she came to visit on such a special day.  Unfortunately, most of Maros' family from Brazil were unable to attend due to workers going on strike due to the World Cup.  His family was not able to get their ...

Mike and Stacy
These two had a perfect day for their outdoor wedding. Everything about the wedding was bright and sunny. From the flowers that Stacy picked for the bouquets, to the candy tables keeping guests sugar'd out! I love shooting outdoor ceremonies, and this one was no exception. A lesson to anyone wanting some really great photos.... be flexible enough to allow for a short photo session right around sunset. Most summer days it is fairly late and most of the formal reception activities are over. This is the BEST time to get some really dramatic photos due to the light. Michael and Stacy were willing to step away from the crowd, and I think they wil ...

Andrew and Caroline – Cleveland
Cinco de Mayo - We had a wonderful day for Caroline and Andrew's Cleveland wedding. As you can see, Caroline is very easy on the eyes, and hence my job gets that much easier. Point and shoot. They were married at the Old Stone Church downtown, which was full of charm and a perfect setting. After the wedding we headed to the lake to get some photos, but the 40mph gusts were not fun for the ladies so we went elsewhere. The ceremony was held near the airport at a historic 'bomb group' venue, which had tons of WWII photos. This was particularly appealing to me because my grandfather was a flight engineer on B-17's during the war. There were lots ...
