Lauren and Eric – Perrysburg

It was a cold Sunday morning. The thermometer read 28 degrees. But, after factoring in wind chill, snow chill, river chill, and cloudy chill it felt more like -28 degrees.

The cold air did not freeze the hearts of all of those at this intimate ceremony and brunch. This was a very low key wedding, held in an amazing apartment living room in downtown Perrysburg. About 20 people came to share the moments with Eric and Lauren. It was a great setting for these two to seal the deal.

We were able to slip outside twice for some photos. The ladies were wonderful and did not complain as much as they should have with their shoulders bare and all. Fingers may have frozen, but all thawed out in the end.

The toasts at this wedding were the best I ever witnessed. Truly from the heart. Each with its own great moments. Laughter was in no short supply. A truly amazing day transpired the first weekend in March…

Blake & Chelsea – Vermont
Blake and Chelsea are good friends of mine and I was honored to be able to shoot their wedding. The setting was in a charming old town in Vermont where Chelsea grew up. They had their ceremony in a historic theater with lots of character. I wish I had a little more time with them to take advantage of all the town had to offer, but the weather was not cooperative.  All in all it was a great day and I really enjoyed meeting their families. Best to the both of you!

Dusty & Kayce – Indiana
Dusty and Kayce are great friends of mine and I am very happy that they invited me to shoot their very intimate wedding back in September. They got married in a one room 'schoolhouse' that was originally built by the quakers back in the early 1800's. Nothing else has been done to the building since then. No electric. No water. No lights. They did have benches though! It was an awesome spot, and they had great weather... which could have very easily ruined the day had it not co-operated. I am lucky enough to have them living close-by so I get to see them often after the wedding, which is not the case a lot of time. Enjoy! ...

Vic and Natalie
I actually had classes with both Vic and Natalie back in my OSU days. Lots of Biology and Chemistry lectures have been shared by the three of us. Thankfully I don't have to worry about either of those subjects in my day to day work. October is my favorite time of the year to shoot. The light has a unique look to it, and Ohio has a lot of color to offer in the fall. The light streaming in to the church during the ceremony was awesome and made for a great backdrop. We were blessed with a beautiful day for Vic and Natalie's wedding and I am very glad that they had a good time slot just for photography. They had beaming smiles the whole day ...
