Andrea + JJ

I am officially dubbing this ‘The Ray Ban Wedding’

Any time you have a wedding in November in Ohio you are pushing your luck. Someone must be on someone’s good side because we had an absolutely beautiful day. The ceremony was earlier in the day so we had a nice little chunk of time to get some photos before the reception. Add to that the fact they didn’t have a wedding party and even more time can be spent getting some great portraits.

While Andrea was getting ready one of her friends accidentally knocked one of my cameras off of a chair and it landed right on the lens. I was a little worried at first, but upon picking it up realized it was fine. However, it was not fine. Something was thrown off… and I am happy it was. I got this amazing flare in a lot of my images thanks to that little mishap!

Love the way the images turned out, and I am sure you will enjoy them too!

This was particularly appealing to me because my grandfather was a flight engineer on B-17's during the war. There were lots ...

Wedding Video and Photography at Beverly Mansion in Central Ohio | CHRISTINA + DAVID
When I was first contacted to shoot a wedding at Beverly Mansion I thought, "where the heck is it and what is the Beverly Mansion?" I had never heard of it, even though I have been doing wedding photography and videos for years. I learned that it was in Ohio, not too far from me. After doing some digging I discovered it was in Marengo county and was an absolutely gorgeous property. On top of all of this, I learned that the soon to be bride and groom had a connection to the location. Christina's grandmother actually grew up at Beverly Mansion and still lives here in Central Ohio. Even better news, her grandmother is still in good health and wo ...
