Swanson Family

My first ALL FILM shoot. Left the digital cameras at home. It was amazing. Granted, I had the beautiful Swanson family to shoot… in an absolutely beautiful setting… with beautiful light… but I am pretty much thinking I don’t need to shoot digital anymore. Why would you when you can get color like this! Loving the way the film cameras help me do my best work. Film forces you to be good. When everything comes together… it can not be beat. I mean, I feel like this first photo should be the first photo that pops up when you google ‘Family Photo’

Our friends and neighbors two doors down recently had their third child, and wanted to get some photos of her in her first week of life. Having never taken baby photos, I really wasn't sure how it would go. Heather showed me some photos that she liked, and the style she was looking for and I figured, I guess I'll give it a shot. The shoot itself was a baby shoot and a family shoot wrapped into one. I had a lot of fun with the whole family and hope that the photos leave an impression on them both now, and as little Hazel Lee grows up!

HOLY CRAP! How cute is this kid!? I love his hair! Easiest family shoot hands down! I met up with Kyle and Victoria, and their newest addition, Gavin, in Granville back in October. You might remember Kyle and Victoria from their wedding a few years back. For old time's sake, we decided to do the shoot at the same spot we did photos for their wedding. It was an absolutely beautiful day and we got some amazing photos. All the photos you see below were shot on film. For more information on how you can book me for a film shoot, send me a note!
