Denise + Jermyl

I headed west to the small town of Coldwater, OH for my second wedding there. Denise and Jermyl are just full of life. Jermyl can make everyone laugh… and is always having a great time. Hang around with him for just 5 minutes and he will have you smiling. I am so happy I got to be a part of this day and could witness their two families coming together. It was really something special!

Once again, the Mamiya 67 kills it. Love the color I got on this dreary, cold, November day in Ohio. Very happy I brought film along with me. I must admit it was hard to change the rolls when my hands were so cold!

Zac and Kristin
Zac and Kristin were not caught up in all the little things that can lead people astray on the day of the wedding. They were all about the people, the fun, and the food. This attitude led to a very fun evening, with lots of laughter... and lots of great food (good work Zac). They were married at Smith Bros., which is now Dock 580, and were able to do everything right there. The ceremony and the reception. This helps keep everything intimate because you don't have people wandering off. Everyone is right there the whole time. I had a lot of fun with Zac and Kristin, and come to find out, they are neighbors of mine! ...

Sara + Eric
Wonderful day with Sara and Eric! The leaves stuck around really late this year so we were able to take advantage of the color while it lasted. Their dog-sitter met them at the park with their doberman, Diesel for a few photos. He even brought him to the reception to surprise her on the dance floor. That dog can dance! They were married at St. Mary's in German Village and had their reception at the Columbus Athletic Club. ...

Vic and Natalie
I actually had classes with both Vic and Natalie back in my OSU days. Lots of Biology and Chemistry lectures have been shared by the three of us. Thankfully I don't have to worry about either of those subjects in my day to day work. October is my favorite time of the year to shoot. The light has a unique look to it, and Ohio has a lot of color to offer in the fall. The light streaming in to the church during the ceremony was awesome and made for a great backdrop. We were blessed with a beautiful day for Vic and Natalie's wedding and I am very glad that they had a good time slot just for photography. They had beaming smiles the whole day ...
