Hannah + Lyndon

I travelled to Pittsburgh to photograph Hannah and Lyndon’s wedding, which took place in an amazing setting, the Carnegie Museum of Art. We soon learned from a local that you pronounce it ‘Car-neigh-gee’… not ‘Car-nih-gee.’ Whoops! If you are in the area, definitely take time to visit the Museum. It is amazing. I can’t wait to take my son to see all the dinosaurs!

Along for the journey were my brother and father, who filmed the event as I took photos. One team, one dream. Below are the fruits of our effort! Love the classy feel this couple has!

Branden and Sol – Madison, WI
My cousin Branden and his bride Sol were married about a month ago in a very private setting. They decided they still wanted to have a party so they basically had a whole wedding day, minus the ceremony, for all of their friends and family to come and celebrate. Most of Sol's family is from Mexico, and about 40 of them made the trip up for the wedding. The Morgan family has music pumping through their genes... so there were definitely some times for that to be demonstrated. My uncle is a percussionist for the Madison Symphony Orchestra and Ryan and Branden are both involved in the band Misery Signals. Not for the soft of hearing. Branden's d ...

Amy and Nick – Short Film
Had a wonderful time shooting Amy and Nick's April wedding. The two of them have very big hearts for each other and their families. Family from all over the world came to witness the event, and not one left unsatisfied. The attention to detail was spectacular and no single thing was looked over in the planning of the day. It was great to be a part of all of it, and share in a very memorable day for these two. Best of luck in Minnesota!

Brendan and Sara – Pittsburgh
This was an amazing wedding. There are many 'types' of weddings, and if you were to tell me I could only shoot one type of wedding for the rest of my photography life, I would definitely say Sara and Brendan's type. From an amazing church on Pitt's campus (Heinz Memorial Chapel), to the the low-key reception at a local bed and breakfast (Morning Glory Inn), this day was filled with lots of fun and a very relaxed group of people. When the bride and groom were pronounced, the bridal party started waving Steeler's terrible towels. The locations I had to work with were all great. The Mellon Institute was just a block from the church and provide ...
