I always love a good backyard wedding. Some yards are better than others, and this one happened to be the best I had been to for a wedding. I traveled north to Aurora, Ohio earlier this summer to photograph this RAD couple. Ann and Marco really loved the look and feel of the film and paid a little extra to have me shoot some black and white film, and I am so glad they did. I need to shoot black and white film more. Marc and Katherine
Marc and Katherine make quite the classy couple. I knew from our engagement shoot back in the day that they were going to have a lot of fun on their wedding day and they didn't disappoint. A lot of guests were there to witness them get married and have fun right along with them. Despite temperatures nearing those of the earth's core, humidity at steam engine levels, a party bus with no A/C and a broken door... they pushed through and were able to make the most of it. What a lovely day for an outdoor wedding!  It poured down rain and stormed just hours before the ceremony.  Driving to Heritage I was sure it was going to be a wash.  However, within minute of arriving it cleared up.  I figured they would have already made up their minds to move the ceremony indoors.  To my delight I saw that the chairs were set up outside, and that there was no tent!
