Jillian + Michael

High Line Car House Wedding

Jill and Mike are such a great couple. I am so glad they chose me to shoot a wedding film for them. From the minute I met them back at that Starbucks, I knew that their day would be special.

Mike designed a ring for Jill to wear on her right hand that used stones from his grandmother’s ring. His grandmother wanted Jill to have it after she passed away. Jill had no idea about this until she received the ring, and heard its story just moments before the ceremony. Watching her receive that ring is one of the best moments I have ever filmed. I teared up multiple times while editing this film when I got to that part. I knew it was a special moment that they would cherish forever.

If you are wondering about the pie, Jill has never baked anything for Mike. Apparently, Mike likes pie, and Jill decided that she would give it shot and bake her first pie to give to him on their wedding day. I love his reaction after the first bite! He says ‘It’s Good!’ really surprised… but since I cut that audio out, you might think he is saying ‘Holy SH#T!!!’ haha! That is what it looks like to me at least!

I hope you enjoy this film. I had a lot of fun shooting it and putting it all together.

Sonoma California Wedding Video - Bride and Groom in Field at Sunset
Wedding Video in Sonoma, California | Amy + Jeff
Where do I begin? This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have been to California multiple times, but never to wine country.  It is without a doubt some of the prettiest countryside I have ever laid eyes on.  Sonoma was just fantastic.  By the end of the first night, I was already picturing myself living there.  If given the opportunity, I could easily pick up and move my family there without hesitation.  It is that nice.  I would most likely only be able to afford a yurt though... Amy and Jeff found me online and liked my work enough to fly me across the country to join them.  Every aspect of the day was perfectly ...

Jorgensen Farms Wedding Video | Kristen + Troy
I had a great time with Kristen and Troy shooting their Jorgensen Farms Wedding Video.  I met Troy a few years back via my son Ward.  Troy works for a medical company, saw the film I made of Ward, noticed some of his companies products in the video, and reached out to see if my family would be interested in joining him in San Diego for a company-wide meeting.  His company was merging with another company and they wanted to share Ward's video with the group to show them how their products were helping real families.  We obliged and spent a few days in San Diego, which was great.  Fast forward to 2016; I was at Jorgensen Farms for a wedding ...

Bride and Groom at Granville Inn Wedding
Granville Inn Wedding Video | Granville, OH | Abbe + Josh
I have been to Granville multiple times, but this Granville Inn Wedding video is of one of my favorite days spent out there.  Abbe and Josh were just great to be around and had the best attitudes.  They were both so kind and welcoming. Funny enough, after the toasts were up Josh grabbed the mic to say a few words and the first person he publicly thanked was me, which was really humbling. They are a really classy couple.   Rain was in the forecast so a tent was brought out for the ceremony, but it ended up being a perfect day and we were able to get lots of great footage, both inside and outside. I love the set of stairs off the main lobby a ...
