Jillian + Michael

High Line Car House Wedding

Jill and Mike are such a great couple. I am so glad they chose me to shoot a wedding film for them. From the minute I met them back at that Starbucks, I knew that their day would be special.

Mike designed a ring for Jill to wear on her right hand that used stones from his grandmother’s ring. His grandmother wanted Jill to have it after she passed away. Jill had no idea about this until she received the ring, and heard its story just moments before the ceremony. Watching her receive that ring is one of the best moments I have ever filmed. I teared up multiple times while editing this film when I got to that part. I knew it was a special moment that they would cherish forever.

If you are wondering about the pie, Jill has never baked anything for Mike. Apparently, Mike likes pie, and Jill decided that she would give it shot and bake her first pie to give to him on their wedding day. I love his reaction after the first bite! He says ‘It’s Good!’ really surprised… but since I cut that audio out, you might think he is saying ‘Holy SH#T!!!’ haha! That is what it looks like to me at least!

I hope you enjoy this film. I had a lot of fun shooting it and putting it all together.

Calamigos Ranch Wedding Video | Birchwood Room | Malibu, CA | Penelope + Josh
I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to head to Malibu, California to shoot this Calamigos Ranch Wedding.  Penelope and Josh are two of the sweetest people you will meet and after watching this video you will understand what I am talking about.  They contacted me late in the year and asked if I would be willing to make the trip out. When I heard a little about their wedding, and what they had planned, I knew I had to be a part of the day.  The day itself did not disappoint. The bride stayed on the premises in one of the suites, which had a large glass shower in the middle of the bedroom.  The groom got ready up the hill with the ...

Hannah + Lyndon
I travelled to Pittsburgh to photograph Hannah and Lyndon's wedding, which took place in an amazing setting, the Carnegie Museum of Art. We soon learned from a local that you pronounce it 'Car-neigh-gee'... not 'Car-nih-gee.' Whoops! If you are in the area, definitely take time to visit the Museum. It is amazing. I can't wait to take my son to see all the dinosaurs! Along for the journey were my brother and father, who filmed the event as I took photos. One team, one dream. Below are the fruits of our effort! Love the classy feel this couple has! ...

John & Melissa – Wedding Film
John and Melissa were a great couple to film. Despite some heavy downpours right after the ceremony... the rain cleared and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the evening. The Rolls Royce was a class choice, and I swear the centerpieces on the head table were taller than John. This is my 3rd wedding film... and the first one that I would consider a complete film. The other two that I had done did not have any of the reception.I would love to hear your feedback! Thanks! Big thanks goes to Josh Stephens -a true professional :) for being my second shooter. Thanks to his slider and 7D we were able to get some slo-mo going and also introduce ...
