Megan + Kirby

Megan and Kirby got married on a beautiful sunny day in Columbus, Ohio. Their ceremony took place in Dublin and their reception was in Hilliard at Heritage Golf Club.

Last year I photographed Megan’s sister’s wedding, which was held at the same locations.  So, I put a little pressure on myself to shoot this wedding as well as I did last year, but give them completely different photos, while still maintaining my style. We had an amazing evening and were able to get out at sunset for some awesome shots. The light was great and the clouds were puffy and white.  Congratulations to you two!

Hannah + Lyndon
I travelled to Pittsburgh to photograph Hannah and Lyndon's wedding, which took place in an amazing setting, the Carnegie Museum of Art. We soon learned from a local that you pronounce it 'Car-neigh-gee'... not 'Car-nih-gee.' Whoops! If you are in the area, definitely take time to visit the Museum. It is amazing. I can't wait to take my son to see all the dinosaurs! Along for the journey were my brother and father, who filmed the event as I took photos. One team, one dream. Below are the fruits of our effort! Love the classy feel this couple has! ...

Anthony and Kelsey
Keeping the trend going for my weddings this year... it was SUPER HOT for Anthony and Kelsey's wedding. You would think September would bring low 80's... maybe high 70's. Try 97. Yes, I sweat through my shirt. I need to buy a black shirt. Thankfully we live in an age when people live indoors and can control the temp. The wedding went off without a hitch and I was glad to be a part of the day. Besides being friends with the bride and groom, I was able to catch up with some other friends of mine that were there, which is always nice.

Andrew and Caroline – Cleveland
Cinco de Mayo - We had a wonderful day for Caroline and Andrew's Cleveland wedding. As you can see, Caroline is very easy on the eyes, and hence my job gets that much easier. Point and shoot. They were married at the Old Stone Church downtown, which was full of charm and a perfect setting. After the wedding we headed to the lake to get some photos, but the 40mph gusts were not fun for the ladies so we went elsewhere. The ceremony was held near the airport at a historic 'bomb group' venue, which had tons of WWII photos. This was particularly appealing to me because my grandfather was a flight engineer on B-17's during the war. There were lots ...
