Amy + Jeff

Where do I begin? This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have been to California multiple times, but never to wine country.  It is without a doubt some of the prettiest countryside I have ever laid eyes on.  Sonoma was just fantastic.  By the end of the first night, I was already picturing myself living there.  If given the opportunity, I could easily pick up and move my family there without hesitation.  It is that nice.  I would most likely only be able to afford a yurt though…

Amy and Jeff found me online and liked my work enough to fly me across the country to join them.  Every aspect of the day was perfectly planned and executed.  Major kudos to Jamie with A Savvy Event for keeping everything on track!  The wedding took place at an adorable little white church and the reception followed at the Sonoma Golf Club, just down the road.  Dinner was held outside, under a huge tree, and the rest of the night happened inside.  Unfortunately you don’t get to see all the details from the inside reception in this video.  It was just too much to cram into 5 minutes!  I had the pleasure of working with Mike Larson and his wife, Rachel.  I saw Mike’s work years ago and was instantly attracted to it.  Getting to shoot side by side with him was an honor.  He is amazing at what he does. Book him. If he is booked already, book me! haha

To top it all off, we were given an amazing sunset, wherein the reds in the sky lasted for more than 10 minutes.  Their wedding day just so happened to be the last day of my 30th year.  The next day I would turn 31.  In my 30 years of life, this was the best sunset I have seen. What a way to end it!

I hope I was able to capture even just a glimpse of the beauty I experienced when I was out there.  Pictures and video still do not do the day justice!

Chelsea +Layne – Photos and Highlight Film
Such a beautiful day for this couple's amazing wedding! No detail was overlooked... and style for miles! Layne and Chelsea hired me to capture both photos and video for their wedding day. I had my brother fly out from LA to help with the video side, and had my father, a long time 2nd shooter of mine help get additional photos and clips. I love being able to provide the bride with both the photos and the video! I hope to be able to book a lot more weddings in the future where I can do both. It makes for a much smoother process having everyone on the same 'team.' ...

Rachel + Ryan – Apostle Islands, WI
In July I travelled up to Lake Superior to be a part of a most extraordinary wedding. I was with Ryan and Rachel for 4 days and got to know them pretty well. Ryan is an experienced Captain and Rachel is a jack of all trades. They have tons of passion, and know what their goals are. I don't see anything stopping these two and can't wait to see what they do together! Rachel actually surprised Ryan the morning of the wedding with a boat that she built for him by hand! By far the best gift I have ever seen given on a wedding day. Maybe ever! The time and work that went into it, along with all the logistics to get it to the wedding site unseen, ...

John & Melissa – Wedding Film
John and Melissa were a great couple to film. Despite some heavy downpours right after the ceremony... the rain cleared and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the evening. The Rolls Royce was a class choice, and I swear the centerpieces on the head table were taller than John. This is my 3rd wedding film... and the first one that I would consider a complete film. The other two that I had done did not have any of the reception.I would love to hear your feedback! Thanks! Big thanks goes to Josh Stephens -a true professional :) for being my second shooter. Thanks to his slider and 7D we were able to get some slo-mo going and also introduce ...
