Sonoma California Wedding Video - Bride and Groom in Field at Sunset

Wedding Video in Sonoma, California | Amy + Jeff

Where do I begin? This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have been to California multiple times, but never to wine country.  It is without a doubt some of the prettiest countryside I have ever laid eyes on.  Sonoma was just fantastic.  By the end of the first night, I was already picturing myself living there.  If given the opportunity, I could easily pick up and move my family there without hesitation.  It is that nice.  I would most likely only be able to afford a yurt though…

Amy and Jeff found me online and liked my work enough to fly me across the country to join them.  Every aspect of the day was perfectly planned and executed.  Major kudos to Jamie with A Savvy Event for keeping everything on track!  The wedding took place at an adorable little white church and the reception followed at the Sonoma Golf Club, just down the road.  Dinner was held outside, under a huge tree, and the rest of the night happened inside.  Unfortunately, you don’t get to see all the details from the inside reception in this video.  It was just too much to cram into 5 minutes!  I had the pleasure of working with Mike Larson and his wife, Rachel.  I saw Mike’s work years ago and was instantly attracted to it.  Getting to shoot side by side with him was an honor.  He is amazing at what he does. Book him. If he is booked already, book me! haha

To top it all off, we were given an amazing sunset, wherein the reds in the sky lasted for more than 10 minutes.  Their wedding day just so happened to be the last day of my 30th year.  The next day I would turn 31.  In my 30 years of life, this was the best sunset I have seen. What a way to end it!

I hope I was able to capture even just a glimpse of the beauty I experienced when I was out there.  Pictures and video still do not do the day justice!

High Line Car House Wedding Jill and Mike are such a great couple. I am so glad they chose me to shoot a wedding film for them. From the minute I met them back at that Starbucks, I knew that their day would be special. Mike designed a ring for Jill to wear on her right hand that used stones from his grandmother's ring. His grandmother wanted Jill to have it after she passed away. Jill had no idea about this until she received the ring, and heard its story just moments before the ceremony. Watching her receive that ring is one of the best moments I have ever filmed. I teared up multiple times while editing this film when I got to t ...

Ed + Shade
I travelled to Asbury Park in the great State of New Jersey to walk in Bruce Springsteen's steps and capture Ed and Shade's beautiful wedding ceremony at the historic Paramount Theater.   I absolutely love these two. They have such great hearts. I could sense the minute that I met them that they were something special. I love getting to travel for weddings. I feel that I connect with the bride and groom much more when I spend the whole weekend with them, and this was no exception. I'm already trying to figure out how to take them up on their offer to bring my family to Asbury Park for a getaway! I love the way this wedding film turned o ...

Millwick Wedding Southern California - Late Night Street
Wedding Video and Photography at Millwick in Southern CA | Jenn + Dan
Los Angeles is quite the character. Her streets always bustling, her people always moving, her buildings glimmering in the rising and setting sun. Some love it here. Some hate it here. Millwick is a gem in the center of its concrete heart. Being in Los Angeles is like playing golf. It has the ability to drive you mad, causing you to swear you will leave and never come back, but then a few moments later you will discover a charm that can be found nowhere else, which will leave you wanting to come back. You may play a horrible round of golf and then hit just ONE shot on 18 that is decent enough to make you smile and walk to the parking lot fee ...
