Sonoma California Wedding Video - Bride and Groom in Field at Sunset

Wedding Video in Sonoma, California | Amy + Jeff

Where do I begin? This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have been to California multiple times, but never to wine country.  It is without a doubt some of the prettiest countryside I have ever laid eyes on.  Sonoma was just fantastic.  By the end of the first night, I was already picturing myself living there.  If given the opportunity, I could easily pick up and move my family there without hesitation.  It is that nice.  I would most likely only be able to afford a yurt though…

Amy and Jeff found me online and liked my work enough to fly me across the country to join them.  Every aspect of the day was perfectly planned and executed.  Major kudos to Jamie with A Savvy Event for keeping everything on track!  The wedding took place at an adorable little white church and the reception followed at the Sonoma Golf Club, just down the road.  Dinner was held outside, under a huge tree, and the rest of the night happened inside.  Unfortunately, you don’t get to see all the details from the inside reception in this video.  It was just too much to cram into 5 minutes!  I had the pleasure of working with Mike Larson and his wife, Rachel.  I saw Mike’s work years ago and was instantly attracted to it.  Getting to shoot side by side with him was an honor.  He is amazing at what he does. Book him. If he is booked already, book me! haha

To top it all off, we were given an amazing sunset, wherein the reds in the sky lasted for more than 10 minutes.  Their wedding day just so happened to be the last day of my 30th year.  The next day I would turn 31.  In my 30 years of life, this was the best sunset I have seen. What a way to end it!

I hope I was able to capture even just a glimpse of the beauty I experienced when I was out there.  Pictures and video still do not do the day justice!

Jorgensen Farms Wedding Video | Kristen + Troy
I had a great time with Kristen and Troy shooting their Jorgensen Farms Wedding Video.  I met Troy a few years back via my son Ward.  Troy works for a medical company, saw the film I made of Ward, noticed some of his companies products in the video, and reached out to see if my family would be interested in joining him in San Diego for a company-wide meeting.  His company was merging with another company and they wanted to share Ward's video with the group to show them how their products were helping real families.  We obliged and spent a few days in San Diego, which was great.  Fast forward to 2016; I was at Jorgensen Farms for a wedding ...

Nashville Wedding Video | Country Music Hall of Fame | Lauren + Ryan
Rarely do you meet a couple that has such an impact on you. From the moment I met Ryan and Lauren, I knew they were truly special souls. I knew that this Nashville wedding video would turn out really well. During his interview, Ryan said quite possibly the nicest things about Lauren that I have ever heard. Any girl would die to have their boyfriend or husband say these things about them; and yet if they did, it would still seem forced. However, when Ryan talks like this, he means it, and you know he means it. It's genuine. Lauren has a huge heart and her love for Ryan is as clear as day. You will also quickly learn of Lauren's love for Jesus. ...

Hannah + Lyndon
I travelled to Pittsburgh to photograph Hannah and Lyndon's wedding, which took place in an amazing setting, the Carnegie Museum of Art. We soon learned from a local that you pronounce it 'Car-neigh-gee'... not 'Car-nih-gee.' Whoops! If you are in the area, definitely take time to visit the Museum. It is amazing. I can't wait to take my son to see all the dinosaurs! Along for the journey were my brother and father, who filmed the event as I took photos. One team, one dream. Below are the fruits of our effort! Love the classy feel this couple has! ...
