Sonoma California Wedding Video - Bride and Groom in Field at Sunset

Wedding Video in Sonoma, California | Amy + Jeff

Where do I begin? This was by far the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to.  I have been to California multiple times, but never to wine country.  It is without a doubt some of the prettiest countryside I have ever laid eyes on.  Sonoma was just fantastic.  By the end of the first night, I was already picturing myself living there.  If given the opportunity, I could easily pick up and move my family there without hesitation.  It is that nice.  I would most likely only be able to afford a yurt though…

Amy and Jeff found me online and liked my work enough to fly me across the country to join them.  Every aspect of the day was perfectly planned and executed.  Major kudos to Jamie with A Savvy Event for keeping everything on track!  The wedding took place at an adorable little white church and the reception followed at the Sonoma Golf Club, just down the road.  Dinner was held outside, under a huge tree, and the rest of the night happened inside.  Unfortunately, you don’t get to see all the details from the inside reception in this video.  It was just too much to cram into 5 minutes!  I had the pleasure of working with Mike Larson and his wife, Rachel.  I saw Mike’s work years ago and was instantly attracted to it.  Getting to shoot side by side with him was an honor.  He is amazing at what he does. Book him. If he is booked already, book me! haha

To top it all off, we were given an amazing sunset, wherein the reds in the sky lasted for more than 10 minutes.  Their wedding day just so happened to be the last day of my 30th year.  The next day I would turn 31.  In my 30 years of life, this was the best sunset I have seen. What a way to end it!

I hope I was able to capture even just a glimpse of the beauty I experienced when I was out there.  Pictures and video still do not do the day justice!

Ashley + Chris
I travelled to Youngstown Ohio (for the second time this year) to film Ashley and Chris' lovely wedding. The day started off on the sunny side, but took a turn for the worse just before the ceremony. Throughout the ceremony you could hear thunder booming outside. Due to the rain we were forced to shoot indoors, but I believe this was for the better! We ended up shooting at a beautiful building with plenty of big windows and natural light. We got some really unique shots that I otherwise would have never gotten if it was a nice day. The guys were hilarious together and provided plenty of funny moments. The reception was held at a banquet ce ...

Danielle & Tolga – Wedding Film
Danielle and Tolga were about as easy on the eyes as they come.  They could easily be on the cover of any wedding magazine... heck... any magazine for that matter! I offered to film this video for them pro-bono to get some experience with wedding films, and also to build my portfolio. This is the first wedding where I have focused solely on the video.... Enjoy! Music is 'All that makes us human continues' by BT.... awesome track!

Myles and Jennifer – Wedding Film
Jennifer is all laughs, and it is hard to be in the same room with her without smiling. She just has that affect on you. Myles is a stand up guy and I knew the minute I met him that he was classy and well spoken gentleman. The day could not have been much better for this wedding. The wedding took place in my hometown of Delaware, with the reception taking place at Delaware's pride and joy (sorry Rutherford B. Hayes)... the Little Brown Jug. I had no wedding videos in 2011, so I was a bit rusty. I forgot how heavy all the equipment was, and how much harder it was to go from point A to point B. In the end I feel this is my best wedding video ...
