Country Music Hall of Fame - Bride and Groom kissing in front of Wightman Chapel

Country Music Hall of Fame Wedding Video | Nashville, TN | Katie + Kendall

This was my second time shooting a wedding in Nashville and it just so happened to be almost a carbon copy of the first time I filmed in the Music City.  The bride and groom got married in the same chapel and had their reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame, just like the first couple.

Let me talk a little bit about Katie and Kendall.  These two were amazing. I met them on Friday at the chapel for the rehearsal. I had yet to meet them in person and had only been in touch with them via email.  Katie was very sweet and made sure everything was okay with me getting in.  When I met Kendall, I knew within seconds that this guy was a good dude.  He just has a presence about him.  He, like Katie, is very considerate and wanted to make sure all was well with me.  He seemed very genuine.  Watching the two of them together, I just knew they were a perfect pair.  We went down into the heart of Nashville for the Rehearsal dinner at Rock Bottom.  I snuck out with my drone and got some amazing shots of the Nashville with lightning storms in the distance. It was beautiful!

The day of the wedding was a lot of fun. We started at the Omni Hotel and had an amazing view of the city from the hotel suite they got ready in. After she was ready to go we headed to the church and completed final prep.  Since it was raining, we decided to do their interviews inside the chapel.  Both interviews went really well and Kendall had some really nice things to say about Katie. He even broke down a little bit and had to take some time to regain composure. I love seeing that sort of thing! It was so sweet.

The ceremony was filled emotion.  The sun had been obscured for most the afternoon but broke out from behind the clouds during the ceremony, shining light directly into the chapel through the stained glass windows in the back.   It was really cool.  After the ceremony, the family stepped outside to take photos and I decided to get the drone out and fly it INSIDE the church. I was so nervous. I checked with the coordinator there first to make sure I was allowed.

We then headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Last time I was here we were on the top floor. This time we were in the space on the ground floor, which was really cool as well. It had really high ceilings with windows going up the whole northern side.  A long set of stairs arced around the back of the room and allowed for me to get some interesting angles of the whole room. The party was great and the two of them were full of joy.  They exited through an orange and white tunnel of Tennessee pom poms, a perfect ending!

Some screenshots from the day.

Wedding Video and Photography at Millwick in Southern CA | Jenn + Dan
Los Angeles is quite the character. Her streets always bustling, her people always moving, her buildings glimmering in the rising and setting sun. Some love it here. Some hate it here. Millwick is a gem in the center of its concrete heart. Being in Los Angeles is like playing golf. It has the ability to drive you mad, causing you to swear you will leave and never come back, but then a few moments later you will discover a charm that can be found nowhere else, which will leave you wanting to come back. You may play a horrible round of golf and then hit just ONE shot on 18 that is decent enough to make you smile and walk to the parking lot fee ...

Ed + Shade
I travelled to Asbury Park in the great State of New Jersey to walk in Bruce Springsteen's steps and capture Ed and Shade's beautiful wedding ceremony at the historic Paramount Theater.   I absolutely love these two. They have such great hearts. I could sense the minute that I met them that they were something special. I love getting to travel for weddings. I feel that I connect with the bride and groom much more when I spend the whole weekend with them, and this was no exception. I'm already trying to figure out how to take them up on their offer to bring my family to Asbury Park for a getaway! I love the way this wedding film turned o ...
